Seventeen years ago, due to financial problems, I returned from the city to my ancestral village and started working in the ruined house of my paternal grandfather from scratch, empty-handed and with no capital, and repaired that house with small tools. I had no money to work, my children and I did construction work.
A new beginning
Turan Banu says about her economic activities:
“We started our business by raising a hundred chickens and ducks and raised it to 500 pieces. In the first years, I suffered because I had no experience, but I started working again stronger.
I was ridiculed by the people, but I offered housework to all the unemployed women and youths of the same village and the surrounding villages of Omidiyeh and attracted many of them to work.
When our business prospered, the whole family from my parents to my brothers and sisters came to work with us and with the help of my father who had farming experience, he started farming and developed it so much that they even killed medicinal materials. plants
Mrs. Sharifi continues about beekeeping: “In addition to all these activities, we started beekeeping five years ago and we are very satisfied with the efficiency of work and all products from medicinal plants to vegetables and (honey, pollen and propolis) I am satisfied. Completely organically packaged and marketed by ourselves without any fertilizers or chemicals.
In addition to all this, this active and entrepreneurial lady has not neglected to provide free education to the villagers and has supported the youth with support from 0 to 100 (from start to finish and sale).
Mrs. Sharifi says in this regard: “I appreciate the credibility and trust that they invest in an environment where young entrepreneurs, from those who have a place to work, to someone who has a place to work. I didn’t have it, I would connect it and it would be profitable for both of them, after that I gave them a good loan so that they can start doing what they like.”
Entrepreneurial spirit
There are many strong-willed women among farmers, and Turan is one of these strong-willed women.
she continues: I opened one in Omidiye city with my own money so that entrepreneurs and farmers can communicate more easily and I connected everyone, at first it was very difficult, but later the problems were solved with this connection. ”
This female entrepreneur from Khuzestan says about transferring her experiences to others: I have free consultation and I teach small and big problems of the house to all people, just from experience, I did not receive training and did not participate in the class. But I have succeeded in this field, there is no expectation from someone who does not do this with the intention of zakat, and if success has been achieved with trust in God and the cooperation of the family.”
12 families make a living with the activities that Mrs. Sharifi and her relatives do, daily and seasonal workers from 5 to 30 people are employed.
We do our work in such a way that all people get motivated, start something and achieve higher success so that they don’t just complain about the world and time that they can’t achieve their desired work.
I did not limit my work in one place, and everywhere in Khuzestan they work with those who work together and have partnerships, and when they learn well, they can work alone, but I stay by their side rather than the products. I will introduce them to the market.”
